Much like in life and travels, I find that going into my work with an open mind and plenty of inspiration guides the final piece to its destination; sometimes it's the unexpected twists and turns that make the trip really worth it. Technically I am a contemporary abstract artist, but I would describe my work as eclectic and free-form, in that I don’t stick to only one style or medium but instead prefer to explore and experiment. Every factor, from color and lighting to materials and texture adds a new element, a new variable, that can be tweaked and played with to create something completely new and fun. Like every country a traveler goes to, each work of art I see adds new inspiration, new ideas, new paths to explore through my work. Going into a new painting, I find it’s most important to enjoy my time and allow the act of creating to guide me, no matter the road it leads me down.

There’s nothing more satisfying than being able to connect with people through my art, and ultimately, I hope to bring happiness and wonder to people. Whether they're curious about my techniques as though they just witnessed a magician’s trick, or they just love the colors themselves, I want people to feel happy when they see my art; just as I feel happy making it.
